i really like the concept, but i've never seen one in non-plastic, and i hate plastic dinnerware. well, "hate" -- not with the passion of a thousand suns going nova, you know. just -- ew. not in my mouth.

*googles*. oh wow, there is actually a titanium spork!

and this picture is worth 200 words or so. this one leaves me speechless.

hey, cool idea to recycle old tableware!

i am not sure they're very functional as the fork part goes; the tines don't look stabby enough. eg. they look good for serving salad, but not for eating it.

hmm. i have some old tableware i hate, and a dremel. this might just call for experimentation.
