piranhaok, i am all exhausted from writing in snigglers. let's do a survey.
1. What kind of soap is in your bathtub right now?
ivory for the paramour; i don't use soap.
2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator?
not this week.
3. Is there anything moldy in your refrigerator?
oh, probably. lemme check. some moldy orange cheddar (which is IMO the best thing to happen to it), and some liquifying broccoli. probably something else in containers way in the back.
4. Are there any dirty dishes in your sink?
yup. big pile in the right sink. couple pots in the left sink. that annoys me, so i'll go wash them when i am done with this. only the pots in the left sink annoy me though. i like to have one sink free.
5. What would you change about your living room?
have more walls in another accessible dimension, for more books. also, self-cleaning carpet would be nice.
6. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty?
what is this "dishwasher" of which you speak?
7. Do you have a can of mushrooms in your pantry?
unfortunately not. i need to buy a flat. yes, i like canned mushrooms.
8. White or wheat bread?
store-bought wheat, and a slice of asiago-topped ciabatta. right now that is. i bake a lot of bread.
9. What is on top of your refrigerator?
a huge can of fake cocoa mix, some fruit bars left from last year's trip to farthing party, a lamp (for the fluorescent above the counter is burned out), a fledgling cissus (plant), a pack of tamarinds, 3 pretty bottles i can't bear to toss, a can of ultra-strength RAID (with which the paramour murdered the wasps last year), a bag of cat treats, the small box into which we toss all receipts, a solid layer of dust.
10. What color is your sofa?
it's a futon; the frame is pine, the mattress is black.
11. What color or design is on your shower curtain?
bright multi-coloured funky cats on a clear base.
12. How many plants are in your home?
one, all of the rest are outside.
13. How many candles are in your home?
hundreds. mostly tealights, but also others, including pillars.
14. Is your bed made right now?
i don't make beds. and i don't actually have a bed. i sleep on a thermarest camping mattress on the floor.
15. If you have a coffee pot, what color is it?
clear glass with black handle and lid (it's a french press).
16. Electric or standard can opener?
standard. well, "standard". it's actually GOOD, not crappy, like standard ones.
17. Theme in your living room?
theme? *heh*. yo, russ, what's our "theme" would you say?
18. Colors in the bedroom?
the paramour's room is egg-yolk yellow. mine is panelled in dark wood.

i don't even have a closet. it's an open home-built (not by me) wardrobe with a curtain in front. it's semi-organized, but in disorder.

bright white halogen. (i saw someone write "black". what use is a black light, i ask you? :)
22. What kinds of things are in your junk drawer?
junk. be serious! i don't actually have a junk drawer. every drawer is a bit junky to make up for that. :)
23. Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home?
glass for me (or straight out of the bottle), plastic for the paramour.
24. Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now?
no. this has been an unusually cool summer, or i would. and it would be red zinger with lemon.
25. If you have a garage, is it cluttered?
no garage, but if we did it would be cluttered. probably too cluttered to actually drive the truck in.

miniblinds in the living room, curtains in the egg room, nothing in the kitchen, bath, and my room.
27. How many pillows do you sleep with?
two.
28. Do you sleep with any lights on at night?
when i fall asleep while reading. not on purpose.

none.
30. How often do you vacuum?
when the cat hair starts to really annoy me. or company is coming.

standard.

white with teal bits.

we have no front porch. we have a mat, but it doesn't say "welcome". it's brown cocos. with tulips (it was cheap, not bought for the design).

one oven rack. burnt-on food. possibly a cookie sheet with a silicone mat.
35. Is your microwave clean or dirty?
not as dirty as it could be, but also not squeaky clean.
36. Is there anything under your bed?
since i have no bed, no. if i had a bed, there'd be clutter under it, and dust bunnies.
37. Chore you hate doing the most?
vacuuming. i hate the sound. i rather clean the toilet, which i also don't actually _like_.

retro. oy. you're implying some sort of fashion sense here in general, aren't you?
39. Do you have a separate room that you use as an office?
no; the living room and my room both function partly as office space. since we both work and play on computers it's really inseparable.
40. If you have a yard, who mows it?
i weedwhack it. occasionally. right now it's a jungle. the cats love it.
41. Is there anything on your kitchen floor right now?
spilled, you mean? or lying on it? there are the garbage can, the cat food bin, the recycling bin, but those belong there. and the soda bottles around the recycling bin, but they belong there. and the cat dishes, but they also belong there. so there's nothing random lying on it. it's not clean, though; it needs washing.
42. How many mirrors are in your home?
*urm*. mirrors. i think 3. yeah. one behind the door in the bathroom which i hardly ever see, and two small ones on the medicine cabinets.
43. Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home?
yes. also probably lost emergency money. which is always fun to find years later.
44. What color are your walls?
mostly wood panelling. a dingy white in the bathroom.
45. Which rooms in your house have wallpaper?
none.

the entire front door is a peephole. (it's a sliding double-glass patio door.)
47. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home?
would you also like to know exactly WHERE i am keeping my emergency money? :) i have a knife in my bedroom, and i know how to use it. (if you resemble a salmon, i will fillet you expertly.)

cats and sulphur? i don't actually know since i live here. it doesn't smell of anything special, like apple pie or whatever realtors tell you to make it smell like when you're trying to sell.

beeswax. i don't like most artificial scents.

garlic-n-dill.

pictures i do what with? i keep my pictures on my computer. there's a large picture of a tree with ice on it in the living room. and a picture of a wizard casting a spell (really nice light in that). no pictures of real people are displayed.

my favourite what? *laugh*.
53. Do you have plenty of cabinet space in your kitchen?
not enough. i keep the pantry in my room because the kitchen is badly designed.

solid colour with texture that gives it shades.

the jump bag i used to have ready and packed. oh ghod. i am so bad now. i'd probably grab the laptop, the external backup drive, and my backpack which ought to have my wallet and stuff in it.

how to turn off the breakers and reset the fuses? yes.
