*eep*. i just rebooted aegis again, because it got into an unstable state. that's the second time in 2 weeks, and that's highly unusual for a debian system. i can't see anything in the logs that stands out. but it also had trouble coming back up; it sat so long after fscking one of the filesystems that i was wondering whether it had frozen. still, nothing in the logs. so weird.

so this is mostly a reminder to get off my duff and take the time to analyze what the heck is going on there. it could use an upgrade anyway, and that main hard drive is getting old. time for a full backup and a swap; i've got a spare drive in smite which nobody is using (gotta keep the paramour from taking to it with a screwdriver for spiffy parts, *snrk*).
