it's hitting me for the people close to him, especially for the paramour, but also for J's wife -- i've lost a partner. i've made the decision to turn off life support. i know what that feels like.

i feel so very bad for her. and there's nothing to be done, the horrible decision has to be made, and she's got to make it, and will forever second-guess herself.
