state of the piranha
Apr. 6th, 2005 21:06pretty decent, in general, even though i have a sore throat and am feeling a bit dizzy today -- i might have picked up a virus over the weekend. we went to the BC rock/mineral/gem show in abbotsford on saturday, and if one puts hundreds of people into one big room with mediocre air circulation, well, propagation of communicable diseases is what one gets. i can't really complain, if this gets worse it'll be the first cold i've had in 5 years.
things have been good since the paramour returned from california; i get up every morning, make my bed (i'm sleeping on the futon couch in the living room right now), and walk bacchus first thing. that seems to set a good mood for the day. when bacchus decides that he's done with walking, i usually do some chores, and then settle down to breakfast and research. some time in the late afternoon the paramour and i walk to the mailbox. this last week i've been working in the garden until it gets dark; the blackberries are almost all taken down. for the first time since we moved here, one can actually walk around in the back yard!
thrilling, eh? yeah. :)
today we went down to ladysmith to have lunch with P, and approve the galley layout. except for a couple of minor changes, it looks great! i got really excited; casework is being done! this week i'm gonna research heating systems -- we're really getting close to launch now, and the finances look fine as well.
life is good.
