looking west from mt tzouhalem

mt tzouhalem rises from sea level to 498m; it's quite the prominent feature in the cowichan valley. this is from below the summit; about 100m lower. the view is awesome from here; about 160° - i have a stitched panorama, but i first need to figure out how to compress it down from 200MB before i can upload it. this shot had the best layers though; i love mountains in layers.
