huygens has successfully landed on titan, and sent back pictures.

courtesy european space agency, whose image server was completely overloaded when i tried, so i made copies of the first two i could grab -- in case anyone hasn't already seen them in various news reports :), and just to marvel at them all day myself.

	titan 1 taken at an altitude of 8 kilometers with a resolution of 20 meters per pixel. could be the landing site, with shorelines and boundaries between raised ground and flooded plains.
