while i was checking whether the truck could still make it down the driveway (yup, though barely), the visibility became worse and it started to snow with somewhat more determination, so i figured the flight would be cancelled. which it was.
so i called air canada, rebooked, put out extra bird feed, moved the truck back into its parking space, informed the waking paramour, stoked up the fire, and then went for a nice long walk in the snow. mmmh. its is so gorgeous out. quiet, too. hardly a car on the road, not even on the island highway. snow up to just below my knees. *crunch*crunch*. it so so very cool.
took a bunch of pictures, but i don't think any of them will be particularly good; there is such a ... "large" feeling to a world wrapped in snow that my skills do not suffice.
