we went for our first real walk, first in bowen park, and then along the harbour front. i took pictures of the side channel to compare with last year's pictures in order to see how quickly it starts to look natural -- this is a project of several years' duration. the paramour was in high form, so i got quite a few pictures of various objects with "special" commentary. lots of water in the millstone river.

Mmmmm. Spring.
Mom always plants a lot of those. But so far, she's just got a few snowdrops in a very protected spot. ....we'll get there.

I can't close this tab. I've been keeping it in the tab lineup for days.

aw; that makes me happy. i am glad i can do something nice for you.

btw, should you ever want a photo for 42, just ask. i don't submit anything anywhere because i don't have a feel for whether they're good enough.

Oh, man. And I was afraid to ask you for this one for a variety of reasons. (Your privacy comfort, for one.) Your stuff is better than the majority of things I see in print (I am no photo expert, though -- I'm talking about my own visceral reaction.)

It's not the only one I've felt like this about, just the most recent. May I have it for next Spring? (We pay real American dollars on publication, which by next Spring could be worthless, who knows, but I'm optimistic. ;-)

(If yes or maybe, I will send you email with more details.)
