no, i didn't buy a new camera yet (that has to wait until the boat is finished).

i was just damn lucky that this pine siskin sat on the feeder forever, with its back turned towards me, so i could sneak up step -- take a shot -- by step -- take a shot until i was close enough to touch it. i didn't, and instead i snuck back, and actually managed to not disturb it at all.

best bird picture i've ever gotten.

it was very, very cold, which probably contributed to the little bird sitting all puffed up and not even feeding the whole time.
