jasmine (not)
Mar. 17th, 2009 22:34smells gloriously. but, as beaq pointed out, THIS isn't jasmine. this is clematis. i've misplaced my jasmine picture.
jasmine is one of those plants i no longer buy because my generally green thumb turns dark anthracite when trying to deal with them. they stop blooming pretty much a week after i buy them and i can never get them to bloom again. some day maybe i'll build a greenhouse. on the library barge, no doubt.
last night i put the new kitchen shelf together, so now recyclables and drying kindling and bottles an actual place to live instead of just being piled and stacked in various boxes. probably will have enough room to transfer the canned good from the pantry shelf in my room as well.
today it stopped raining long enough for me to play with my new compound mitre saw. OMG. it cuts like a warm knife through butter. this will make building things at home so much easier.

I ask because I can't get my winter jasmine to bloom again. But it might be dead anyway from the extracold.
ranunculematis?
