favourite snack mix for days when i need comfort food: skinned filberts, plump, golden raisins, and decent chocolate chips (callebaut or president's choice). those three tastes meld together to melt me.

since i am planning to upgrade my inherited mac mini today, i need that. any upgrade that requires a couple of putty knives for getting into a computer is bound to test one's nerves.

speaking of comfort foods, i got the best chai spice from an indian restaurant in ladysmith; i will quite possibly never drink another cup of chai made from a teabag. it tastes great with coffee as well.
