on 2008-10-12 06:23 (UTC)It's a huge state, though - and there are a lot more conservatives and religious right-wingers than people generally think.
There's still a lot of narrow-mindedness, intolerance, and hate.
The people behind the anti-gay marriage ads are big religious groups. I'm not sure the reasonable ads from the pro-gay marriage folks are going to be near enough to counteract the fear mongering.
