took the paramour out to eat our usual at smitty's (santa fe chicken quesadilla), which is yummy, except that i wish they'd use another cheese than the generic orange stuff they're slopping on it.

after that we wandered around the southgate area to look at the new assisted living campus that's about to open, and to check out what's happening in the mall. and bought some bread.

I love the underside of ferns when they spore. Our birdsnest fern has spores under some of the leaves ATM.

Yep, yep, yep. There are so many amazingly different kinds and they're all lovely. Australia seems to be a particularly good spot for them too. If you ever get here, make sure you visit a tree fern forest! (You can cheat and visit the ones in parks, like at the Roma Street parklands here in Brisbane, or the Botanic Gardens in Canberra.)

yeah, i doubt it. i mean it's not like it makes sense to most people in _this_ generation. *wry grin*. too bad, too; i really like it. i got a kick out of sagan taking carson's "billions and billions" ribbing so well that he used it in the title of his last book.
