unfortunately overexposed, but that's the best dragonfly shot i've got yet. they sure don't sit still for long on hot days like today. |
walklog:
7-20 hemerglobin park, the trail that comes out in the old orchard above the entrance. 2.86 km, 1:25, elevation gain 452m. there is a crossroute shortly before this trail ends up in the field, which i want to take to the left and see where it goes. lots of duckweed in the smaller lakes. also indian pipe in several small groupings.
newly ripe berries: huckleberries and saskatoon berries. also black cherries on abandoned old orchard trees. nomnomnom.
new blooms: hardhack, fireweed, bullrush, various thistles, water hemlock (not so nomnomnom).

overexposure vs purposeful mood
on 2008-07-23 05:07 (UTC)with my camera it's hard to get the exposure right in really bright conditions because i can't see the LCD screen well enough, and it's kinda small.
but i am glad you like my pictures!
