on 2008-08-01 06:17 (UTC)... Ladyhawke was one of the movies that first made me fall in love with horses. It's been far, far too long since I've seen it -- I should Netflix it. Don't know that I'd actually want to own a Friesian, though -- the Spanish types, as a rule, don't do terribly much for me (or any of the heavier saddle breeds) -- I prefer more flexible horses, and may want to get into eventing once I'm back in shape. I can't really picture a Friesian on a cross-country course. ;) Gorgeous horses, though.
