05-24 cedar -> hemer park, 8.37 km, 2:11, elevation gain 626m. not a walk to take photographs, but to _walk_. which was good for assessing how much better my stamina has gotten -- the paramour no longer needs to slow down for me. (the *poing* would still have to, *heh*. damn long legs.)

need new boots, i think i've worn the midsole out on these. feet hurt a little at the end.

oh, probably not; it rarely is. but i am actually ok with that; i want new boots that are one step up from these (these are very light day hikers without goretex). considering how wet it is out here, these are not the best boots for the restored me that actually takes hikes again and bush whacks.
