that's what it looks like during our big snowfall, which happens usually just once a year, in early december. the snow never stays long, less than a week, but it does fall in quantities that make it great fun (as long as one stays out of traffic on the day it falls). our street is in the boonies, so it doesn't get plowed until late the second day, and you need a 4-wheel drive to get in and out of the driveway.

I hope I've mentioned before how delightful it is to see the daily image you put up. My life is so very full of words and analytical thinking - the picture is a lovely respite.

That snowfall is beautiful. We get a bit more (*cough*) than you do, and in fact, we're starting in on a 10++ inch storm right about now. I should get away from the lightbox, go home, and bring in a week's worth of firewood before it gets buried.
