the joy of tea
Feb. 11th, 2008 18:18i just had one of the best teas i've experienced, ever. orchid oolong from murchie's down in victoria. i bought this ages ago as a gift but for one reason or another ended up not gifting it after all. today i came across it while cleaning my room (a project that i am determined to finish before my demise, which is basically why the paramour has called off the death watch).
so.very.good. amazing fragrance that carries straight into the taste. and beautiful golden colour.
i don't want to know about caffeine. i am drinking this, no matter what.

on 2008-02-12 21:53 (UTC)this particular tea isn't flavoured; that's its natural fragrance and taste that's so amazing.

on 2008-02-12 22:02 (UTC)that's actually the problem with my room. i can no longer find or even reach what i am looking for. which is why it needs cleaning and reorganizing instead of having more and more things dumped into it.
i don't really collect things either, i am more of a packrat. which is different in how it feels -- i don't keep things because i like to have a lot of them, or a complete set (like all the books by one author), i keep things because they might become useful again down the road.
i don't just have photos, i also have digital art; whenever i see an image i like online i save it. and i scan images from books as well. oh, and manga, of course. giga and gigabytes of it. packrat. :)
