my current favourite, president's choice rooibos citrus spice.

i find that the macro feature of my camera allows me to see a lot of things that my normal eyesight isn't tuned enough for.

Ooh. I don't drink tea, but I'd put that in a bowl on the table for decorative purposes!

no, they're rose petals. there's no hibiscus in this tea (though there could be, i'd like it).

Wow, I hate the flavor of every single part of that tea (except maybe the "spice"), but it's really pretty. I wonder how that picture would look as a desktop background? Mine is all boring.

What are the little blue bits?

I'm guessing gentian. I used to drink gentian tea when I lived in France, mostly because it was *so pretty*.

krasota has it right, they're cornflower.

would you like a larger copy to try as a background?

Yes, please, if it's no trouble.

(Hey, if I don't want to drink it I get to look at it longer. It works out. :) )

Macro pictures a excellent. I like trying to take pictures of flowers with the macro. Especially with the magnifier lenses I've got...the depth of focus is usually so small, and the plant is generally moving at least a bit, I can never tell which part of the flower/plant will be the focus of the picture.
