i have election fever. almost all my browser tabs are for election monitoring sites.
MSM:
CNN
ABC
CBS
washington post
new york times
and lefty blogs on which people close to the action report:
daily kos
TPMcafe
myDD
i am also watching for reports on voting irregularities. and maybe this time they won't be forgotten after the elections. moveon.org is offering U$250,000 for reports on vote fraud that lead to a felony conviction. should you have such information, email it to voterfraud@moveon.org.
i am mostly trying to ignore exit polls.
please, please, please, america. kick the bastards to the curb. send the message that more people in the US value human rights and civil liberties than has been shown by this administration. the rest of the world really needs to hear that message.

on 2006-11-08 01:29 (UTC)I did my bit, but here in central NC, what that amounts to remains to be seen. After finding my polling place on a relentlessly rainy fall day, I was encourage to hear from the poll monitors that turnout had been pretty heavy, especially given the weather. The exit person and I even swapped affirmation on the utility of having polling places in grade schools (high), and the possible benefits from making voting mandatory ala AUS (suprisingly gung ho).
