you can import the contents of your personal account from other LJ-based journal services. import from livejournal itself, from insanejournal, and greatestjournal works now, import from other services with an older codebase will follow. the importer can bring over your entries, comments, tags, userpics, bio, friends, friends groups, and security levels (you can also choose not to have some of those things copied).
