nation building

today i am reading and thinking about the iraqi constitution. it's been quite confusing; i wish i read arabic -- though i suspect that might not necessarily make things less confusing.

this site is helpful, and even though i don't read arabic, the fact that the arabic text is displayed next to the english version inspires me with somewhat more trust than many other sites.

completely aside from the general feelings i have about US/UK involvement in iraq, and the way things have been going, i find the drafting of a constitution terribly exciting and inspiring.
