I like that shelving. If I had enough open wall space, I'd be tempted to set up something similar. (Our only wall that has enough non-interrupted space is currently taken up by the CD racks.)

my favourite shelving ever was when i lived by myself in a house and had a whole room for books alone -- i put in shelves coming out from the walls with books on both sides; just like a library.

here the wallspace isn't really sufficient; i have a lot of books in boxes.
