here's looking at you another day with temperatures in the mid-thirties (are we breaking heat records? yes, apparently so, 64 of them all across the province.) laid low most of the day, but headed out after 20:00 for a quick trip to piper's lagoon, to walk in the ocean. we had a lot of wind, which helped with the heat today, and it whipped up quite a bit of wave action. fun. i really like the colouration of this crablet.

My sympathy on the heat. There were a few days' lull in Montreal while I was up there, after a serious thunderstorm--cool enough I actually wanted my cardigan in the light rain at the Jardin Botanique Saturday afternoon--but I'm looking at low thirties today in New York and haven't looked further ahead than that.

The crab is pretty; my first thought was you'd selected it as indication of how hot things were.
