invasion of the giant flies watch the invasion of the giant flies!

undoctored; i swear -- straight from the volcanocam. no wonder they evacuated the observatory.

And then 4 minutes after you posted, it's errupted.

*cackle*. you know, i've done that twice now; spoke of its not erupting, and then it promptly did. hmmmm...

i just now looked at pictures of the 1980 eruption. holy shit. i was still in europe then, and while i heard about it, i was too busy with my own life to pay any attention. wow, that really was a Big Deal.

i love webcams of far-away locations.

Mount Saint Helens has apparently been taken over -- 'conquered' if you will -- by a master race of giant subterranian flies. And I for one welcome our new insect overlords.

welcome, you insect-loving putz!

*augh*! you've had an LJ for a small eternity, and i didn't know!

i am proud of myself for figuring out who you were long before coming across the post that spells out your name. *grin*.

What, you didn't work your way down to the part where I proclaim myself the eighteenth-smartest person in the United States? I marvel at your powers of deduction!

Yeah, I hopped on board -- what, two years ago? -- to keep track of a Small Farm Animal, but it has only struck me in the past few days that I could check out friends of friends and drop nuggets of my profound wisdom like so much fertilizer. I didn't even know that you were *you*. Good heavens, where the hell else have I been posting??

So how on earth are you? WHERE on earth are you?

18th smartest, uh huh!

friends of friends can be amazing. though AFAIK not a lot of snigglers made the jump to LJ; i think its reputation as a teenage angst-n-drama site turned off a lot of people. loads of people from alt.poly are here though.

dropping bits of fer^H^H^Hwisdom is an excellent idea. *grin*.

i am doing quite well; am still the happiest depressed person my shrink knows. living way out here on the east coast of vancouver island, where i love it. HURL says "hi!".
