resistance is probably futile
Aug. 19th, 2005 22:28i am not feeding the new little black cat. no. we don't need another cat.
i just pushed one of the outside feeders closer to her hiding place. i mean, the feeder is already out there anyway, right? what harm does it do.
the new little black cat mreeps at me. *sigh*.

As to the kitty, what about giving the kitty and a donation to a no kill shelter?

on 2005-08-25 18:31 (UTC)yeah, if we determine the catling doesn't belong to anyone here, that's an option we'll consider. this area is semi-rural, and everybody's cats run around in everybody's yard and eat from everybody's outdoor feeders -- our yard is usually somewhat less attractive because bacchus is quite territorial and may attack strange cats. he doesn't mind this one, which leads me to think it might be a local he's known for a while, who's gotten more daring.
she's not feral in any case; we can now both pet her and pick her up, and she's joined the evening walks (and walks further than the others!).
