yeah, i have seen a lot of people who put extra interests into the bio section. i sometimes consider doing that for interests that change; such as authors whose work i am reading, music i am listening to, temporary fascinations.

i don't actually use the interests for searching; i just use them to tell people who've already found me about the sort of stuff i care about.
