I had to beg for many years to many people before someone finally stepped up and bought one for me. Evidently my mutant power is not wanting to get put on infomercial mailing lists, or I'd have done it myself.

It's obviously mockable, but it is not the least-used kitchen device I own by a long shot. If you're making an omelette, it saves you a dish to wash.
