i am suddenly in need of many invite codes (~40 more than i've already used), to pull an entire group of lovely smut readers and writers over here, who are very unhappy with their current domicile. i can pay for some of them, but not the entire group.

does anyone on my dreamroll have codes to spare for which they anticipate no immediate use? i'll happily reciprocate at a later date. or i can do something else for you in return. like, make you wallpaper from one of my images, for example.

comments are screened, i'd appreciate any codes you'd like to leave there.

*heh*. of course. i'll leave yours til last because i can't promise that i'll be able to give them to the sort of people you want. though they're not exactly in fandom, not most of them, but on the fringes. not really completely outside either though; there is lots of overlap.

the entire group originated on a filesharing site where they had been sharing m/m ebooks -- and then had more and more discussions, and then some started writing their own original fiction and shared and improved it within the group; we already have two authors who're getting ready to submit their work to publishers. some are also fanfic readers and writers, some yaoi readers/writers, some graphic artists. the site has unfortunately become dominated by homophobic moderators who harass the group.

for future reference, you can just pass the code itself on to somebody else to send out or use, you don't have to invite people personally through the invite page.

thanks -- yeah, both denise and mark have said that, but i also know there are lots of spare codes floating around for which people have no use anymore, and figured i might as well make use of those.

actually i have FINALLY figured a use for them -- i knew if i kept them long enough, i would. i crochet with them! i made a belt, and now i'm working on small purse.

and i am contemplating pseudo-chainmail bracelets, but for that i'd have to cut them, and that's a lot of cutting.

i crochet into the holes. no pictures yet, but i should probably take some; i've been lax about arts and crafts experiment pictures (i don't really consider myself an artist and always feel a little weird when i show my experiments to others).
