Well, there are still so few good books for raising strong, confident girls that I grab every one I see and I'll hold them till she's old enough to appreciate them.

And yeah, I looked at a couple of chapters-it's fun and also very good, with a synopsis of the story, a brief biography, a discussion of the featured locale, and list of other suggestions (like local parks or museums connected to the story, or activities for kids in the neighborhood). It goes right through the Harry Potter books.
