When the captain and I were at the Museum of Science and Industry last week, there was a one-panel display demonstrating why, no, Virginia, creation science ain't science. But standing at the display was a family who Just Didn't Get It. The son -- who was about Joe's age -- was saying "Creation science is too a science!" while the captain tried not to snicker. As we walked away, I said, reasonably loudly, "That's why science isn't done by popular vote."
