i love bamboo

ran errands today; soap exchange for laundry detergent, enzyme solution, and shampoo base; canadian tire for wood shredder, pots, coir; wholesale store for groceries. also did laundry: all the bedding. it was a bright, sunny, not too hot day; perfect.

Love the bamboo - it's a nice pick how it's poking through the wooden slats of the fence.

I want more things made of bamboo. I have a bamboo crochet hook that I use all the time. And I almost bought bed sheets made of bamboo - smoother and softer than cotton, more silk-like.

I love your dailies -- they're always interesting and beautiful. But what I'm really curious about is "canadian tire." all the things you have mentioned doing at this place (and i don't remember that any of it actually ever involved tires) make me imagine it as a sprawling, strange palace with nooks and crannies and the sense that it contains everything. any pictures? ;-)
