9-25 it rained, but we actually walked, after i took the paramour to dinner at southgate since tomorrow zie's flying off for ~3 weeks. we walked maybe 1.5 km downtown, around the new conference centre, up and down commercial st. there are no stores in the centre yet, but conferences are running already. a violinist played quite nicely while we walked up comm st, but just when i was going to go and donate a few bucks because hey, drizzle, dark, and no pedestrians but us, she yelled at us across the street "praise the lord", and... *sigh*. i didn't feel like it anymore.
