maybe one of the many coliadinae -- i know extremely little about butterflies. gorgeous eyes -- can't really see them that well in this image, but i got one closer up (where of course the wings aren't in focus, *snrk*). the flower is marjoram; i like it in bloom even better than i like it in food :).

so much for shifting my schedule, *sigh*. spent all day laying around, feeling dozy. no more rain.
