good, quiet day

as so often i don't feel like i've done much, but actually i've been busy all day long. some with chores -- dishes (that had been piling up) are all done, and the sink is scrubbed. the rest of the chores were all computer cleanup; tossing out old zip files, shuffling directories around, tagging images, reorganizing photoshop and painter plugins (instead of keeping several copies, just one now, and symlinks), unpacking torrent downloads.

i've noticed i get a lot more done if i don't read news first thing after i get up. *wry grin*. in fact i've neither checked usenet nor email nor my flist today at all yet. that's probably a strong hint about prioritising, but i know how that's gonna go.

i really want to start building my bed.
