creation "science"

so there's a creation museum being built in kentucky. the *poing* and i were joking after reading about that, as to what it might contain:

dried crumbs of mud from adam's creation
I hear the Deceptions of Satan wing is particularly informative

then i went to the website.

We’re not talking about so-called ‘reality TV,’ which places real people in unrealistic situations and throws in a bizarre twist at the end. At the Creation Museum special effects theater, you’ll see true stories from the Bible, not embellished with unrealistic subplots. And the unusual twist (compared to many other ‘biblically based’ movies) is accuracy—both biblical and scientific!

i am hoping for the realistic and true story of jonah in the belly of the whale, along with showing us how noah fit two of every species onto the ark, and the parting of the red sea.

alas there will be the 3D depiction of the crucifixion -- wonder whether mel gibson and his jesus snuff film set that in motion.

but wait, there's more: the most famous of the missionary lizards, the T. rex will play a prominent role in dispelling the myth that there was an ‘age of the dinosaurs.’ As we know from God’s Word, dinosaurs, along with the other land-dwelling creatures, were created on Day 6, so they lived right alongside birds, reptiles, mammals—even humans.

and Exploring the lobby, as you wait to enter the planetarium or special effects theater, you’ll find children playing with velociraptor-like dinosaurs beside a quiet stream.

this is my favourite, because it shows so wonderfully the level of "science" we'll get here:

bet he looks just like methuselah at 969 years. one old geezer is just like the next, eh.
