every time i set up samba in a new install, i learn a bit more about it. by now i no longer find it onerous. not like our samba installation is particularly complicated either, of course. but it makes me happy anyway.
i did a lot of noodling earlier on marriage and sex, but it's not done yet, so this lame entry will have to do for the day. i also wrote a political rant about the corruption in the republican congress re. special rule changes to protect tom delay, and raising the debt limit by another mere 800 billion, plus some exhortation for carolyn parrish to continue to stomp, but that got eaten by an opera crash. maybe i'll feel ranty again tomorrow; with the continuation of the bush regime and its business as usual that's quite a likely assumption.
also tomorrow we get a big cage for bacchus, and begin "operation kindness" to remove from him the desire to terrorize bang and cal. he won't consider it a kindness, that's for sure, but it's either that, or getting rid of him, because i dislike his taking over of the house since it's resulted in both bang and cal being afraid to come in.
