I tend to get apoplectic at any conservative site whatsoever. However, I can stand a mixed right- and left-wing blog called Obsidian Wings. I'm sorry I can't do links in comments, but if you Google for these they should come up. Another advantage of this blog for the sensitive is that, while any given comment may still make one's jaw drop (I'm not saying the same ones would make both our jaws drop, but there is jaw-dropping for everybody), there are some posting rules that keep things more civil and less loony than on a lot of blogs. Each blogger also has a short list of links they like, so finding more not-utterly-mad conservative sites might be possible by this method.
