finding LJ people on DW

a) make a post in your LJ asking them to identify themselves.

b) use http://lj-friends-on-dw.filmgold.com/ to find those who might not have changed their handles.

c) pick people you already know on DW who overlap your LJ flist, and mine their subscription/access lists.

d) post in dreamchasers.

Does dreamchasers have people older than 21 posting personals? ;) I only read the most recent four entries when I linked through, so my data is far from statistically significant.

It does! There are definitely decent numbers of older people on Dreamwidth.

There are definitely older people here, I have a feeling the site skews slightly older than LJ at the moment. But I don't know that there are a lot of older people posting to dreamchasers, because I think a lot of them came over with their entire networks (eg geeky and / or fandom friends). That's a guess, though, I don't have any stats.

i've read dreamchasers from the beginning, and there are definitely older people in there, though it has skewed younger since open beta began.

i don't think it's a particularly _good_ way to find old LJ pals, but at one time the comm was useful for it because pretty much everyone read it. i don't know how true that is now that we have so many new accounts, which is why i added it in last place.
