sleepless linkage

while going through my circle for the first time in a long time, i see that i should have done this sooner. there are some fascinating new people who have subscribed to me, and i am enjoying all this new exposure.

not much more time tonight, but i gotta link to at least two:

[personal profile] bettina posted photos of wales that made me want to pack my bag and head on right over there. also, she found a shrine for torchwood's ianto in cardiff bay -- how totally cool is that? i love fen.

[personal profile] bitterlawngnome posts very interesting images for which i need to take much more time. but what touched me tonight was his calendar of men. go look through the pages -- i like them all, and am alas too tired to go into all the reasons why, but some are really moving.

I've had the pleasure of being photographed by [personal profile] bitterlawngnome once. He was a really nice guy, and the pictures turned out wonderfully.

is it time to do more? :)

Possibly? I don't track his journal, and maybe I should, to see when he's opening up opportunities for projects. The last time was also for a calendar, where he put the word out for volunteers and [personal profile] firecat tipped me off because she knew I was local. For a while I pondered doing a hired photo shoot, but I think I've lost steam for the idea after discovering that most of the ideas I had for it are somewhat problematic, and also since my synthesizer project is eating all of my overflow money. But maybe it would be good to keep an eye out for future volunteer opportunities if they come up.

May I just poke my nose in here to say I would not complain at all about more [personal profile] maize photos by [personal profile] bitterlawngnome. :)

*giggle* I totally didn't read who the comment was from and assumed it had been from [personal profile] piranha! I'm so out of it today. :) DST is being hell on me.

Anyway, as noted in the other comment, I had thought about approaching you for some commissioned photographs, but there were some problems with my ideas and then I found another use for all my spare money. :) If you have a project you want volunteers for, I'd be more than happy to help! I'd feel weird about just saying, "Hey, photograph me free?"

I had been thinking that when I finish building my synth, I'd start pondering other ideas, though. :) (Which is not as indefinite a timeline as it sounds -- it's about 2/3 done at the moment.)

just release them so I can use them in calendars or whatever

it would need to be soonish though I'm going to Seattle mid April & won't be back til late June.

Sure, you'd be able to use them for anything you like. If that's helpful, than I'm very happy to do so!

Timing is kind of crazy between here and mid-April for me, though. When do you usually do sittings?

Oh, thanks for the link! I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures so much! The Ianto shrine is amazing, apparently there's new stuff there all the time. :-)
