yes, the way gmail mishandles mail really ticks me off. i am about to write a very form yet nice, polite email to ask them to look into it. i expect of course nothing, since they're not terribly responsive, but at least i will have done it.

this is, btw, why i always give subjects to my comments -- that way it will thread properly in any email client that threads by subject.
