He's conservative and openly homosexual, which has lead to some rather sad posts in the past -- he left the Republican party in a big way last year when he finally twigged that Bush was happy to sell GLBT Republicans up the river for votes. Also, Dan Savage posts there. I should pay lots more attention than they did.
