It's beautiful! We have an ornamental cherry tree in our backyard as well - tis huge and I love it. It gives blossom that is more very light pinkish-white though :)

Do not have any pretty close ups like you made, but here's a photo I made of the tree while in full bloom 2 summers ago, in case you'd like to see :) Not a great photograph but well, it does show a loooot of blossom!
