when arguing with an entry on LJ, do you first read all the existing comments, or do you just say what you have to say? whichever you choose, why do you do it that way? if you return to the discussion later, do you only read comments made to your own replies, or do you also read whatever else might've been said? why, or why not? how do you keep track of what you said; bookmarking, emailed comments, LJ's recent_comments tool, notched marks on your bedpost, in some amazing way that you will now share, or you don't keep track? if you keep track, for about how long?

(if you don't know yet about http://www.livejournal.com/tools/recent_comments.bml, allow me to introduce you. much more useful for paid users, for whom LJ keeps track of 50 posted/received comments.)
