Yesterday, Stacey mentioned a story line that would make a good movie. It reminded me of an old SF movie, but I couldn't remember the name. A lot of google tries later, I finally came up with Crack in the World.
Dana Andrews and Janette Scott. Day of the Triffids was everywhere in the stuff I found about Crack. Crack was the followup to Triffids and was a much better film. Scott is mentioned in the Rocky Horror theme song with a reference to Triffids.
I haven't thought about any of those movies in years. And in the space of two days, I'm up to my ears in Triffids and Cracks. I'll probably watch Crack tonight. :)
